This approach doesn't cost you any more, but is recommended for long term wellness

Hawaiian Massage

Lomi lomi,

Grounded in the practice of Huna that dates back to over 5000 years known as "secret knowledge".  Lomi Lomi movement of life energy (Kino Mana) or the movement of life energy.  Going beyond just the physical body but your mind and spirit too. In this deep place of peace true healing and restoration occurs.

Natural medicine

Lāʻau lapaʻau

Lāʻau lapaʻau is a traditional medical practice of Native Hawaiians. The Hawaiian words lāʻau and lapaʻau mean vegetation and treat, heal, or cure respectively. This practice involves using native plants, herbs and spirituality to treat ailments and injuries. And because I am blessed to live and work in Aoteroa I have been able to include aspects Rongoā, Maori healing herbs and plants

Personal wellness

Hoʻolono - To Listen

The goal is to  create both the best oils or traditional medicine for you, then activating this through lomi lomi massage, and maybe some homework too! This starts with listening to you, to talk story - that is understanding the key issues, back-ground and goals you have.

Lāʻau lapaʻau - Finding the right plants, flowers, oils for you

Based on your goals we can then blend together healing oil  or other traditional flowers, plants and herbs unique just for you. Then carefully explain how to use each remedy. Below is a core set of plants, and traditional healing elements to get you started. When our mind understands the power of each element too we believe the greater the healing and effect.

Kino Mana - the power of touch

Once we hear your story and create just for you oils, creams or a spray, we can work together to design a massage targeted at your goals - or in some places carefully listen to your body and discover where best to focus our lomi lomi massage on.
